Mednet have worked on various projects, sponsored by a pharmaceutical company, to establish a comprehensive training needs assessment for Healthcare Professionals across primary care, based on the Skills for Health Framework.

The information is collected on a web based platform developed by Mednet and the report is also generated by the tool.

The study assesses the existing diabetes competencies within the geographical area. The results have been used to identify the training needs for this group of health care professionals and inform future commissioning intentions.

Mednet continue to work with NHS organisations using the web based tool.
