Mednet are working with the National Mental Health PbR programme to develop a web based tool for commissioners and providers. The project is being conducted with the Independent Mental Health Services Collaboration (IMHSeC) group, which consists of members from the Department of Health, the Pharmaceutical Mental Health Initiative (PMHI) and the NHS Confederation. Resourcing for the project has been provided by the PMHI group. The output of the project will be a web-based platform that can be accessed by professionals in the commissioning and provision of services covered by the 21 clusters. Mednet has been tasked with providing expertise on the steering group as well as building and designing an appropriate web-based platform for the project. The web based platform is currently available for consultation and will be launched in March 2012.
